Amherst

Grace Bertrand, graduate of Amherst Regional High School, class of 2017, has been named to the dean’s list at Salem State University in Salem, where she is pursuing a social work degree.

Jessemie Rietkerk has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware.

Alyson Rutherford will perform in a production of ‘Master Choreographers’ at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Belchertown

Courtney Rae Campbell and Jenna Haley Richards were named to the fall semester dean’s list at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Holbrook O’Neill, daughter of Devin and Melissa O’Neill, was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Furman College in Greenville, South Carolina.

Jordan Elizabeth Gamache has been named to the fall semester president’s list at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Gamache is majoring in Psychology.

Bryanna Veroneau, class of 2018; has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Assumption College in Worcester.

Hadley

Michael Mieczkowski, a freshman majoring in engineering studies, has been named a fall semester presidential scholar at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York.

South Deerfield

Camilla Baronas has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut.

Castleton University

Local students named to the fall semester dean’s list at the university in Castleton, Vermont, include Oliver Rodgers of Hadley and Mary Kowaleck of Sunderland.

Elms College

The following local students have been named to the fall semester dean’s list at the college in Chicopee:

The following local students were named to the fall semester dean’s list at the university in West Haven, Connecticut:

Trent Lenkarski of Belchertown, attending the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in national security studies.

Elizabeth Hennessey of South Hadley, attending the College of Arts and Sciences and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a concentration in investigative services.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute

The following local students were named to the fall semester dean’s list at the institute in Worcester:

Benjamin Freed of Amherst, class of 2018 majoring in mechanical engineering.

Charles Sanderson of Hadley, class of 2020, majoring in biology and biotechnology.

The criteria for the WPI dean’s list differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average, but defines the dean’s list by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
