It's that time of year again. Remember to change your clocks Sat. night and say hello to daylight savings time for a few months.

Adrienne Terrizzi, my Orchard Valley neighbors reminds me that residents can meet Town Meetings candidates March 18 at the Regional Middle School. Precincts 1-5 will meet from 10 - 11:30 a.m. and Precincts 6-10 will meet from noon until 1:30 p.m. The session is sponsored by the Town Meeting Coordinating Committee and moderated by the League of Women Voters.

The Public Shade Tree Committee is having its second Saturday event - a clean up March 18 at 9 a.m. Meet at the Big Y parking lot Bring gloves. Look for the yellow truck. There is a reward for the volunteers - refreshments.

The League of Women Voters, of which I am a member, is sponsoring a Candidate's Night March 16 at 7 p.m. in the Regional Middle School. There are races for several offices. It's free.

Bruce and Val Penniman of Amherst sent a card of morning alms at Luang Prabang, Laos. They wrote that they participated in that morning ritual. They have been to Thailand and Cambodia and Vietnam are next.
