Reminder: real estate taxes are due Feb. 1, which is a Thursday, right before Groundhog Day. Is there some kind of metaphor there?

Ralph Faulkingham, who is secretary of the Pelham Democratic Town Committee, sent me an email about the Caucus that will be held Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. at the Pelham Library. One delegate and an alternate will be chosen to attend the State Democratic Party Nominating Convention in Worcester on June 1 and 2.

Republicans, Libertarians and Green Party folks, send me your news as well. Thanks.

For fun and easing cabin fever, check out the Great Railroad Show at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield. This is the 50th Anniversary of the show that started in Amherst. I went to the second show when it was at the University of Massachusetts Student Union. The first show happened before I moved here.
