Amherst Police

• Cassidy P. Doherty-Crespin, 19, of Ipswich, and John P. Huntington., 19, of Milton, were arrested Jan. 21 at 2:22 a.m. on North Pleasant Street on charges of larceny from a building after they were found carrying painted signs belonging to an Allen Street fraternity, police said.

Doherty-Crespin also faces a charge of being a minor in possession of alcohol, while Huntington also faces a charge of possession of a fake ID.

• Michael P. Sullivan, 22, of Malden, was arrested Jan. 21 at 1:26 a.m. on College Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay within marked lanes.

• Tyler P. Hitchcock, 22, of Abington, was arrested Jan. 21 at 1:21 a.m. on Northampton Road on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay within marked lanes

• Rileigh A. Damon, 23, of Aqua Vitae Road, Hadley, was arrested Jan. 20 at 6:10 a.m. on Sunderland Road on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs.

• Lauren Derouin, 22, of Triangle Street, was arrested Jan. 20 at 1:06 a.m. on Kellogg Avenue on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, failure to stop or yield and making a right turn on red where prohibited.

• Manu Kumar, 19, of Westford, was arrested Jan. 18 at 11:22 p.m. on Triangle Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay within marked lanes.

• Ted C. Ilnicky, 38, of Long Hill Road, Leverett, was arrested Jan. 18 at 12:32 p.m. at Big Y supermarket on University Drive on a charge of shoplifting.

• Police are seeking a warrant for the arrest of a man, no age or hometown available, who allegedly punched a woman in the face at a North Pleasant Street residence Jan. 17 at 12:42 p.m. The woman suffered minor injuries, police said.

• Kyle I. Josias, 18, of Rolling Ridge Road, was arrested Jan. 16 at 2:14 a.m. on East Pleasant Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, speeding and failure to dim headlights to oncoming traffic.

• Christopher F. McCracken, 25, of Mill Valley Estates, was arrested Jan. 14 at 3 p.m. at an Amherst home on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order and trespassing.

Hadley Police

• Juan Oliva, 27, of Springfield, was arrested Jan. 19 at 1:36 a.m. on Route 9 on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and failure to stop at a red light.

• Edgar Selavka, 55, of North Maple Street, was arrested Jan. 18 at 11:30 p.m. at home on a warrant.

• Conrad E. Kruzel, 39, of Northampton, was arrested Jan. 18 at 12:48 p.m. at Whole Foods Market at Mountain Farms Mall on a charge of shoplifting (third offense).

• Jomaries Perez, 25, of Springfield, was arrested Jan. 17 at 12:07 p.m. on Route 9 on a charge of larceny over $250 after he was found in possession of $681.67 worth of flat irons he allegedly stole from a Hadley salon, police said.

• Stephanie MacLean, 20, of Potwine Lane, Amherst, was arrested Jan. 14 at 5:35 p.m. at the Super Stop & Shop at Campus Shopping Plaza on a charge of shoplifting after she left the store without paying for $113.47 in food items, police said.
