In Eastern Hampshire District Court Tuesday, June 23, 2009, before Judge John Payne Jr.:

GERRARD, Nicole M., 19, Chicopee, had dismissed a charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and had dismissed upon payment of $50 in court costs a charge of operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

ANDERSON, Lori A., 48, Westfield, had dismissed a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs, submitted to facts sufficient for a guilty finding on a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol (second offense); continued without a finding for one year, ordered to complete a driver alcohol education program, 90-day loss of license; fined $600.

ESTES, Luke W., 20, 83 N. Maple St., Hadley, submitted to facts sufficient for a guilty finding on a charge of malicious destruction of property valued below $250; continued without a finding for one year; ordered to complete an anger-management evaluation.

GOMEZ, Jason, 33, Enfield, Conn., submitted to facts sufficient for a guilty finding on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license; continued without a finding for six months.

LAFLAMME, Desiree A., 29, Chicopee, pleaded guilty to charges of reckless operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license; placed on probation for six months, ordered to complete a safe drivers course.

Sentenced to jail

RIVERS, Bryan, 28, Springfield, pleaded guilty to charges of breaking and entering a building in the nighttime to commit a felony, assault and battery and larceny from a person; sentenced to two years in jail, to be served directly.

ROMERO, Neftali, 26, Holyoke, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license; sentenced to 10 days in jail directly following his current sentence.

In Eastern Hampshire District Court Wednesday, June 24, 2009, before Judge John Payne Jr.:

TREVATHAN, Mark A., 18, Ware, had dismissed a charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and had dismissed upon payment of $50 in court costs a charge of operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

BUSHYAGER, Matthew A., 29, Agawam, had dismissed a charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and had dismissed up on payment of $50 in court costs a charge of operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

ORTIZ, Katherine L., 17, 25 Colonial Village, Amherst, was placed on pretrial probation for six months on a charge of assault and battery; ordered to avoid drugs and alcohol, submit to random screenings and remain in counseling.

JOSIAS, Keegan, 17, 108 Rolling Ridge Road, Amherst, had dismissed two counts of breaking and entering a building during the nighttime to commit a felony, submitted to facts sufficient for a guilty finding on two counts of breaking and entering a building during the nighttime to commit a felony, wanton destruction of property valued below $250 and larceny over $250; continued without a finding for one year, ordered to avoid drugs and alcohol and submit to random screenings, complete 20 hours of community service and stay away from the victim and their property.

TENNYSON, James M., 36, 106 Brookswood Drive., Florence, pleaded guilty to a charge of shoplifting; fined $50.

ENGLISH, Debra L., 41, Holyoke, pleaded guilty to a charge of shoplifting; fined $50.

NAWRACAJ, Linda, 24, Chicopee, had a guilty finding filed on a charge of failure to stop for state police.

In Eastern Hampshire District Court Friday, June 26, 2009, before Judge W. Michael Goggins:

BELSKY, Michael, 21, Randolph, had dismissed upon payment of $50 in court costs a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

POTHIER, Lynn, 45, Ware, submitted to facts sufficient for a guilty finding on charges of assault and battery, disorderly conduct and two counts of assault and battery on a police officer; continued without a finding for six months, ordered to avoid alcohol and submit to random screenings.

LOHR, James C., 55, Ware, had dismissed a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and submitted to facts sufficient for a guilty finding on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol; continued without a finding for one year, ordered to complete a driver alcohol education program, 45 day loss of license and fined $600.

MELANSON, Kyle W., 27, West Warren, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license; fined $625.

Sentenced to jail

RIVERA, Jose, 32, Holyoke, pleaded guilty to a charge of shoplifting merchandise valued above $100; sentenced to 60 days in jail, to be served directly.

In Eastern Hampshire District Court Monday, June 29, 2009, before Judge W. Michael Goggins:

LAVALLEY, Keith J., Ware, had charges of assault and battery and threatening to commit a crime dismissed at the request of the victim.

OWENS, Alex T., 21, 233 Moore Hall, Amherst, submitted to facts sufficient for a guilty finding on a charge of failure to disperse during a riot; continued without a finding for two months, ordered to pay $200 in restitution.

FONTAINE, Jeremy, 26, Chicopee, submitted to facts sufficient for a guilty finding on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license; continued without a finding for six months, ordered to pay $200 in court costs.
