Children can participate in Creatures in Clay with Bernadette Marian and Fun on the Potters Wheel with Jazu Stein. Beth Epstein teaches a calligraphy class for ages 16 and older that focuses on art as a way to quiet the mind and two classes that focus on techniques of Asian Art.
Whitney Suter offers three levels of bellydancing: basic, intermediate and tribal fusion. There is also a Middle Eastern movement class for girls, and swing dancing specifically for teens.
For the health conscious, Leslie Cerier teaches Spring Renewal! Cooking for Women's Health and Quick and Easy Meal with Whole Grains. And Jana Vilner teaches how to improve eyesight by use of The Bates Method, a group of exercise techniques said to combat nearsightedness, astigmatism, farsightedness, and other vision problems.
In addition, women experiencing issues of midlife can sign up for There's No Time Like Now: A Workshop for Women in Mid-life. Led by Laura Washburn.
Registration for these classes and others begins now. For more information, call (413) 259-3065 or visit http://www.lsse.org.
