The Pisces/Aquarius shift

Published on March 30, 2007

AT this dawning of the Age of Aquarius, we stand on the shores of two great celestial currents, watching their powerful bodies surge and unite in a spray of sea and foam.

On our left is the constellation Pisces. Her ocean tides begin to ebb, slowly receding into the fading twilight. On our right is Aquarius - tumultuous, wild and unpredictable.

Because Pisces is the sign of the subconscious, during this long age, there is much that we are not aware of. It is as though a veil had been cast, preventing us from seeing the light. As a civilization, we have surrendered ourselves to authority, often in the name of our Lord. Unfortunately history has shown that our leaders have not always used the highest motives as their guiding light. Controlling the message is a part of how those in authority maintain order.

But as Aquarius and the Age of Technology dawn, we are discovering media independence, as our information channels open up through computers, satellites and cell phones. During the Gulf War, for example, individuals were able to get video and messages out of Baghdad. This loss of media control by central authority continues as a trend in information, technology, and educational independence. As the Piscean veil drops, we will get to see what we, and those who guide us, have done to each other.

But there are other ways in which the Aquarian vibration is growing stronger as we learn more about the stars. This involves looking deep into space through the far-seeing eye of Hubble, but it also means peering further back into archaeology and discovering just how far back the roots of stellar observation go. The standard benchmarks of antiquity have traditionally been the pyramids and Stonehenge, with the pyramids dated to the 28th-century B.C., while Stonehenge, Phase 1, began about the 31st century B.C.

Now we know that there were constructions of earth, stone and shadow at Newgrange, Malta, and Nabta Playa, in the 35th, 36th, and 45th centuries B.C. In examining myths of various cultures, Athena postulates that the earliest stories commence at least as early as the 4th, 5th and even 6th millennia B.C., when the stars of Gemini, the Twins, marked Spring.

As archaeo-astronomy continues to gain momentum, it's our hypothesis that additional sites will be unearthed, of even greater antiquity than those already known.

The point at which people began to observe time has important consequences - for the calendar, for navigation, water-born vessels, trade, and agriculture. It has major implications for civilization itself. Rather than civilization shaping time, the development of systems of time may have molded civilization.

There are contenders for Armenian and German Stonehenges. At the German site, near Goseck, pottery shards found within the compound suggest the observatory was built in 4900 B.C. At Karahundj in Armenia is another site which may extend back to the 5th millenieum B.C. There's even a Bosnian Pyramid currently being uncovered.

As Aquarius draws closer, the vibration grows stronger. We will learn more about the stars, about history and about science. What's next?

The Daily Planets

March 30 - April 5, 2007

Friday, 30th- We chew on a couple of knots today, at about 10 this morning and 6 tonight. They help to keep us focused. This is a Virgo Moon, so preparation and organization are well favored. Clean up.

Saturday, 31st- Pluto pivots today at 5:46 p.m. If this triggers you, major changes are in store. Will power is strong, but is it strong enough to overcome the bonds of physical limitations? Sometimes yes, sometimes, no. Early morning is very nice. Late afternoon catches the heat.

Sunday, 1st- Conditions grow more intense with the Full Moon over the next 48 hours. News today changes the whole picture. Late tonight we focus on what we're limited by; who's not being fair; what isn't right. This is not the time to force decisions, unless the answer you want is no. V/C Moon 8:37A-10:43A when it enters Libra

Monday, 2nd- Not until Wednesday evening do we roll out of this one. Relationships come into focus today. There's a tendency to overreact Tuesday morning. The "smoke" continues to linger in the air through lunchtime on Wednesday, getting in everyone's eyes, but finally begins to lift Wednesday evening.

Tuesday, 3rd- There's a bit of a lull through the middle of the day. We pick up a shot of energy late afternoon, early evening, but don't stretch it until late. V/C Moon 10:26P-11:35P when it enters Scorpio

Wednesday, 4th- More information continues to roll in, and many are not pleased with it as we approach noon. As we move into the evening our efforts come more easily, and details can be attended to.

Thursday, 5th- We are fascinated by what we hear around 8:30 this morning. Some are not pleased with the fare at lunch. Around 9 p.m. is pleasant. V/C Moon 9:53P-11:55A (Fri) enters Sagittarius
