Calendar

Leverett will hold an all-school assembly Oct. 1 at 11 a.m.

Mark's Meadow will hold its curriculum night Oct. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Fort River will hold an open house Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.

Pelham will hold a curriculum night Oct. 3 with childcare available for a $5 donation. The presentation for kindergarten, grades one and two will be held at 7 p.m.; grades three and four at 7:20 p.m.; and grades five and six at 7:40 p.m.

Meetings

The Pelham PTO will meet Oct. 1 at 7 p.m.

The Leverett School Committee will meet Oct. 2 at 6 p.m.

The Mark's Meadow School Governance Council will meet Oct. 4 at 3:30 p.m. in the principal's office.

The Pelham School Committee will meet Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Community Center.

College visits

Campuses send representatives to meet with students and families. The schedule:

Oct. 1: Northfield Mount Hermon, 12 p.m.

Oct. 2: Roger Williams University, 8:30 a.m.

Oct. 3: Westfield State College, 8 a.m.; Columbia University, 8:30 a.m.; Dean College, 9:15 a.m.; Wellesley College, 10 a.m.; Bentley College, 11:30 a.m.; St. Mary's, (Md.) 12:15 p.m.; Lafayette College, 1:30 p.m.

Oct. 4: University of Chicago, 7:45 a.m.; Macalester College, 8:30 a.m.; Providence College, 9:30 a.m.; Carleton College, 10:30 a.m.; Wesleyan University, 11 a.m.; Laurence University, 11:30 a.m.

Oct. 5: Middlebury College, 8 a.m.; Vassar College, 9 a.m.; University of New Rochelle, 10 a.m.; Washington University St. Louis, 11:45 a.m.; Hampshire College, 12:30 p.m.; University of Rochester, 1:30 p.m.

Lunch menu

MONDAY: Beef hot dog on bun, baked fries, green beans.

TUESDAY: Pasta with Italian meat sauce, green peas.

WEDNESDAY: Toasted cheese sandwich, tomato soup, pasta salad.

THURSDAY: Chicken nuggets, baked potato rounds, green peas, bread.

FRIDAY: School made cheese pizza wedge, tossed green salad

All meals include milk and fresh fruit or fruit cup.
