Amherst Police
* A 45-year-old Amherst man will be summoned to court on charges of domestic assault and battery and intimidating a witness, following an incident reported by a woman at a South Amherst home Tuesday at 2:33 a.m., police said. The woman was not injured during the incident, according to police.
* A 37-year-old Amherst man will be summoned to court on a charge of assault and battery after he shoved a neighbor on Rolling Green Drive Monday at 11:52 p.m., when the neighbor called in a noise complaint, police said.
* Henry A. Hackett, 26, of Greenwich Road, was arrested Monday at 7;32 p.m. on West Street on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended licence, police said.
* A 43-year-old Amherst man will be summoned to court on a charge of providing a false name to police following his arrest in January, police said.
The summons was issued Monday at 12:55 p.m., police said.
* Employees at the Amherst Family Outreach Program on Fearing Street reported a break-in Monday at 8:54 a.m. The building had been entered through an unlocked back window, and computer monitors, portable phones and a package of crackers were reported stolen.
* A 57-year-old Amherst woman will be summoned to court on a charge of breaking and entering to cause a misdemeanor after she entered a New Hollister Apartments home and refused to leave Monday at 12:06 a.m., police said.
* A Southborough man is facing several charges after the Jeep Cherokee he was driving on Henry Street crashed into a Subaru Legacy parked in the driveway of a home Sunday at 6:38 a.m., leaving two passengers with injuries requiring transport to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
Mark Lowe, 20, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, possession of a class D substance, marijuana, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, providing a false name to police upon arrest, failure to stay within marked lanes and receiving stolen property over $250 and on an outstanding warrant, police said.
James Sanchez, 22, of Cliffside Apartments, Sunderland, and Jeremy Hilliard, no age available, of Springfield, both passengers in the vehicle, were taken by Amherst Fire Department ambulance to Baystate. Both were treated and released, according to a hospital spokesman.
Lowe fled the scene of the accident on foot, but was located about an hour later on South Whitney Street after he hitch-hiked to the location.
Police said Lowe apparently took the keys from a person at a party he was attending and then drove off in the Jeep without the other person's knowledge. The accident remains under investigation.
* Julian G. Rossello-Cornier, 22, of Potwine Lane, was arrested Sunday at 1:56 a.m. on North Pleasant Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, police said.
* The following people will be summoned to court on charges of being minors in possession of alcohol and violating the town's open container bylaw after incidents on North Pleasant Street and Hobart Lane and at Crestview Apartments and North Village between May 3 at 12:23 a.m. and Sunday at 1:53 a.m., police said:
An 18-year-old Hyannis woman; a 19-year-old Westborough woman; a 20-year-old Bolton woman; and a 20-year-old Charlton man.
* Douglas K. Sutton, 18, of Springfield, was arrested Sunday at 1:40 a.m. at Puffton Village on a charge of possession of a class D substance, marijuana, police said.
* Several fights broke out on Hobart Lane early Sunday morning, with the most serious one occurring at 12:40 a.m. Three people were taken to area hospitals for facial and head lacerations, possibly caused by thrown bottles, police said.
The incident remains under investigation.
At the same time, John M. Foisy, 19, of Milton, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, police said.
* The following people were arrested May 3 at 4:47 p.m. and 6:56 p.m. and Sunday at 12:05 a.m. on Main Street and College Street and at North Village Apartments on charges of violating the town's open container bylaw, police said:
Anne L. Antonellis, 22, of Belmont; Matthew A. Kellman, 21, of Wilton, Conn.; and Joseph P. Sweeney, 21, of Cambridge.
* The following people were arrested between May 2 at 10:33 p.m. and May 3 at 11:53 p.m. on Phillips Street and North Pleasant Street and at Townehouse Apartments and Crestview Apartments on charges of being minors in possession of alcohol and violating the town's open container bylaw, police said:
Kaitlin A. English, 20, of Oakhurst, N.J.; David T. McDonald, 20, of Milton; Julia R. Yanakopulos, 18, of Medford; and Katie A. Young, 18, of Ware.
McDonald was also arrested on a charge of possession of a class B substance, police said.
Yanakopulos was also arrested on a charge of refusing to identify herself to police, police said.
* The following people were arrested between May 3 at 1:30 a.m. and 11:28 p.m. at Townehouse Apartments and Brandywine Apartments and on South East Street and Hobart Lane on charges of being minors in possession of alcohol, police said:
Kyle Bevis, 20, of Still Water, N.Y.; Daniel J. Curtin, 20, of Wrentham; Lucas T. Harrington, 20, of Centerville; Andrew P. Lanigan, 20, of Acton; Jill M. Peters, 20, of Stoughton; and Elizabeth A. Roche, 20, of Arlington.
* Joshua G. Cutting, 19, Andrew M. Slezak, 20, and Brian Thomas, 20, all of Reading, were all arrested May 3 at 11:10 p.m. at the corner of Hobart Lane and North Pleasant Street on charges of possession of a class D substance, marijuana, and being minors in possession of alcohol, police said.
Slezak was also arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct, police said.
* Nikolay Y. Roudenko, 20, of Ashland, was arrested May 3 at 9:30 p.m. on Sunset Avenue on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, second offense, failure to stop/yield, failure to stay within marked lanes, speeding and being a minor in possession of alcohol, police said.
* Scott G. Richard, 28, of South Hadley, was arrested May 3 at 9:17 p.m. on Cowles Lane on an outstanding warrant, police said.
* Daniel D. McLaurin, 22, of Boston, was arrested May 3 at 8:49 p.m. on Amity Street on an outstanding warrant, police said.
* Alexander C. Kennedy, 22, of Chelmsford, was arrested May 3 at 8:18 p.m. at Townehouse Apartments on charges of violating the town's noise bylaw and disorderly conduct, police said.
* Gregory J. Burke, 20, of South Boston, was arrested May 3 at 7:47 p.m. on Main Street on a charge of violating the town's noise bylaw, police said.
* Wayne A. Beach, 19, of Falls Road, Sunderland, was arrested May 3 at 6:57 p.m. on North Pleasant Street on charges of possession of a class D substance, marijuana, being a minor in possession of alcohol and failure to signal, police said.
* Michael D. Nashawaty, 20, of Braintree, and Jonathan M. Slyva, 23, of Hobart Lane, were both arrested May 3 at 5:47 p.m. at a Hobart Lane home on charges of violating the town's noise bylaw, police said.
* Police took a report May 3 at 3:53 p.m. that The Crazy Noodle restaurant on Main Street was entered sometime overnight through a smashed back window and bottles of beer and vodka were stolen. Police are investigating.
* Three Cambridge men, no ages available, will be summoned to court on charges of possession of a class D substance, marijuana, following a motor vehicle stop on Belchertown Road May 3 at 3:49 p.m., police said.
* Jennifer R. Rawlings, 20, of New Haven, Conn., was arrested May 3 at 7:23 a.m. at Southpoint Apartments on charges of domestic assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a martini glass) after she struck another woman with the glass, police said.
The victim sustained minor cuts but refused treatment, police said.
* Travis J. Foster, 19, of Marston Mills, was arrested May 3 at 2:13 a.m. on Triangle Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle with a lights violation, failure to use care in stopping and being a minor in possession of alcohol, police said.
* Angela B. Nickole, 21, of Ashland, was arrested May 3 at 1:34 a.m. on South Pleasant Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, failure to stay within marked lanes, failure to stop/yield and possession of a class D substance, marijuana, police said.
* A 20-year-old Franklin woman will be summoned to court on a charge of being a minor in possession of alcohol following an incident on Fearing Street May 3 at 12:35 a.m., police said.
* The following four men were arrested May 3 at 12:01 a.m. at a Fearing Street home on charges of violating the town's noise bylaw and violating the town's keg bylaw, police said:
Geoffrey D. Dorenzo, 21, of Upton; Nicholas A. Gasse, 22, of Sandwich; Stephen J. Rajcula, 20, of Hopedale; and Justin M. Stewart, 21, of Fearing Street.
* The following four people will be summoned to court on charges of possession of a class D substance, marijuana, following a traffic stop on West Street May 2 at 8:14 p.m., police said: a 15-year-old Granby girl; a 16-year-old Granby boy; a 16-year-old South Hadley girl; and a 20-year-old Springfield man. The Springfield man will also be summoned to court on a charge of being a minor in possession of alcohol, police said.
* Boram Ha, 18, of Fearing Street, was arrested May 2 at 5:25 p.m. at her home on a charge of domestic assault and battery after she struck a man in the face, police said. The man didn't need medical attention, according to police.
* A man sustained a two-inch laceration to his head May 2 at 1:14 a.m. after he confronted his neighbors at The Boulders when their loud noise awoke his 2-year-old child. The confrontation led to a fight between about six people, police said. The man was evaluated by Amherst Fire Department ambulance personnel, but he refused treatment. He also told police he didn't want to press charges against his neighbors.
* Adolphe W. Coulibaly, 24, of Newport, R.I., was arrested May 2 at 1:10 a.m. at the corner of Kellogg Avenue and North Pleasant Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of a property damage accident, police said.
Coulibaly was driving his vehicle from Boltwood Walk onto Kellogg Avenue when it collided with the back end of a vehicle driven by Jeffrey C. Sabelli, 27, of Jenks Street, police said.
Coulibaly briefly fled the area before being located, police said.
* Frederic J. Argir, 20, of Lakeville, Minn., was arrested May 2 at 12:12 a.m. on Spring Street on charges of being a minor in possession of alcohol and violating the town's open container bylaw after he was observed walking on the Town Common with an open can of beer, police said.
* A 20-year-old Amherst man will be summoned to court on a charge of domestic assault and battery after he allegedly pushed a woman and spit in her face in an incident in a Glendale Road driveway May 1 at 10:09 p.m., police said.
The man and woman were located at a Northampton Road location after the incident was reported, police said.
* James R. Dowling, 62, of Northampton Road, was arrested May 1 at 9:10 p.m. on North Pleasant Street on an outstanding warrant from Eastern Hampshire District Court for failure to appear on an operating under the influence charges, police said.
* A 39-year-old Shutesbury man will be summoned to court on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, after the vehicle he was driving on East Pleasant Street was stopped for having an expired inspection sticker May 1 at 8:36 a.m., police said.
* Offices inside a building at 256 North Pleasant St. were entered through two kicked-in doors and extensive damage was caused to them in an incident reported to police May 1 at 7:16 a.m. Police said the damage included the placement of excrement on a chiropractic table inside one of the offices.
* A Springfield woman caught stealing items from the CVS Pharmacy on North Pleasant Street April 30 at 5:22 p.m. was issued a trespass notice from store management.
* Graffiti was found on a utility box on Heatherstone Road April 30 10:46 a.m. Police notified Western Massachusetts Electric Co. about the damage.
* Police are investigating an incident reported April 29 at 11:55 p.m. in which a man was repeatedly punched in the face in a Pray Street parking lot. The man was brought to Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton to receive stitches for a deep laceration above his right eye. The male suspect in the beating fled in a vehicle before police got there.
* A Kingston man, no age available, will be summoned to court on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license following a traffic stop on Gatehouse Road April 29 at 1:27 p.m., police said.
* A 29-year-old Amherst woman will be summoned to court on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to use care in backing, after the vehicle she was driving at the corner of East Pleasant Street and Orchard Hill Drive struck a second vehicle April 29 at 1:02 p.m., police said.
* Between April 29 and May 5, police recovered a debit card, a purse, two wallets and a folding knife. Police checked for speeding vehicles on North East Street, Strong Street, Amity Street and Mechanic Street, provided escorts for two funerals and one person, performed well-being checks on three residents, assisted one person locked out from a home and delivered mail to members of the Select Board.
Police responded to false alarms at six businesses, five homes, Hampshire Educational Collaborative and Kingdom Hall, and checked on vehicles parked on North East Street, West Street, North Pleasant Street, Potwine Lane and Lessey Street and at Alpine Commons, Crestview Apartments and Brandywine Apartments.
Hadley Police
* Thomas H. Heywood Jr., 40, of Northampton, was arrested Monday at an unspecified time on Route 9 on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, third offense, speeding, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stay within marked lanes and failure to dim headlights to oncoming traffic, police said.
* Russell C. Entrikin, 24, of Medfield, was arrested Sunday at 2:15 a.m. on Route 9 on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay within marked lanes, police said.
* Andrew D. Craig, 20, of Melrose, was arrested May 3 at 7:45 p.m. on the Route 116 bypass on a charge of being a minor transporting alcohol, police said.
* Ghalib A. Azia, 20, of Attleboro, was arrested May 1 at 9:49 p.m. on Route 9 on charges of being a minor transporting alcohol and speeding, police said.
* A woman who allegedly jumped from a moving vehicle on Mill Valley Road April 29 at 7:26 p.m. and then made suicidal threats was transported to Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton for evaluation.
* Rebecca L. Nunan, 21, of Northampton, was arrested April 29 at 4:28 p.m. at Hampshire Mall on a charge of domestic assault and battery, police said.
UMass Police
* Sedale J. Jones, 21, of Pittsfield, was arrested Sunday at 6:30 p.m. on University Drive on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, police said.
* A 19-year-old Lowell man will be summoned to court on charges of being a minor in possession of alcohol, failure to stop/yield and failure to stay within marked lanes following a stop on Commonwealth Avenue Sunday at 2:21 a.m., police said.
* John R. Porter, 19, of Plymouth, was arrested Sunday at 1:55 a.m. at the Academic Mall on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle on the sidewalk and operating a motor vehicle with no license in possession, police said.
* Kayshawn T. Jacobs, 19, of Springfield, was arrested Sunday at 12:19 a.m. on Massachusetts Avenue on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, speeding, failure to stay within marked lanes, being a minor in possession of alcohol and possession of a class D substance, marijuana, and on an outstanding warrant, police said.
Cordero D. Crenshaw, 20, of Springfield, was arrested at the same time and place on an outstanding warrant, police said.
* The following four people will be summoned to court on charges of possession of a class D substance, marijuana, following an incident in Lot 71 off Massachusetts Avenue May 3 at 11:31 p.m., police said: an 18-year-old Boston woman; two 20-year-old Dorchester men; and a 22-year-old Roslindale man.
* A 19-year-old Lynn man will be summoned to court on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle with a number plate violation, following a traffic stop on Massachusetts Avenue Saturday at 7:05 p.m., police said.
* Tyrone Fleurimont, 20, of Roslindale, and Joshua L. Johnson, 21, of Dorchester, were both arrested May 3 at 5:42 p.m. at Curry Hicks Cage on charges of disorderly conduct, police said.
Johnson was also arrested on a charge of resisting arrest, police said.
* Edward K. Kingori, 20, of Worcester, was arrested May 3 at 3:47 a.m. on University Drive on charges of failure to stop/yield, failure to stay within marked lanes and being a minor in possession of alcohol, police said.
* A 20-year-old Brockton man will be summoned to court on a charge of assault and battery, following an incident at Emerson dormitory May 3 at 1:51 a.m., police said.
* Jean H. Matthieu Jr., 19, of Worcester, was arrested May 3 at 1:41 a.m. on Massachusetts Avenue on charges of operating a motor vehicle in violation of a license restriction, failure to stop/yield, being a minor in possession of alcohol and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, police said.
* Edmond D. Boothe, 19, of Roslindale, was arrested May 2 at 11:58 p.m. on University Drive on charges of possession of a class D substance, marijuana, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, being a minor in possession of alcohol, failure to stop/yield, failure to signal, failure to stay within marked lanes and failure to use care in starting or stopping, police said.
* Rachel M. Lister, 21, of Willow Lane, Amherst, was arrested May 2 at 11:52 p.m. on East Pleasant Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, failure to stop/yield, failure to stay within marked lanes and obstructing an emergency vehicle, police said.
* Justin D. Barr and Quinn C. Driscoll, both 19 and of Gloucester, were both arrested May 2 at 9:23 p.m. in Lot 29 off Clark Hill Road on charges of possession of a class D substance, marijuana, police said. Barr was also arrested on a charge of being a minor in possession of alcohol, police said.
* Joseph Bryant, 19, of Wilmington, Meredith A. Wells, 18, of Woburn, and Gregory R. Wironen, 19, of Tyngsborough, were all arrested May 2 at 6:14 p.m. and 8:11 p.m. on Sunset Avenue and in Lot 22 off University Drive on charges of being minors in possession of alcohol and possession of fake IDs, police said.
* A 19-year-old Randolph woman will be summoned to court on charges of possession of a class D substance, marijuana, and being a minor in possession of alcohol, following an incident at McNamara dormitory May 2 at 4:58 p.m., police said.
* Anda A. Torres, 26, of Belchertown, was arrested May 2 at 2:03 a.m. on North Pleasant Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked as the result of being an habitual traffic offender, refusing to identify himself as the operator of the motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a lights violation, operating a motor vehicle with registration not in possession and unsafe operation of a motor vehicle, police said.
* Ernest Semavor, 22, of Worcester, was arrested May 2 at 1:11 a.m. in Lot 50 off Washington Road on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, speeding, failure to stop/yield, failure to stay within marked lanes, obstructing traffic on a roadway and disorderly conduct, police said.
* A 19-year-old Harvard man will be summoned to court on a charge of possession of a class D susbstance, marijuana, following an incident at Cashin dormitory May 1 at 9:29 a.m., police said.
* Kevin D. Niemira, 19, of Harvard, was arrested May 1 at 9:14 a.m. at Brown dormitory on charges of possession of a class C substance, possession of a class C substance with intent to distribute, possession of a class D substance, marijuana, and possession of a class D substance, marijuana, with intent to distribute, police said.
* Kristin Ross, 22, of Old Amherst Road, Sunderland, was arrested May 1 at 1:54 a.m. on North Pleasant Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, failure to stay within marked lanes and speeding, police said.
* Michael E. Peterson, 28, of Suffolk Street, Amherst, was arrested May 1 at 1:07 a.m. on University Drive on an outstanding warrant, police said.
* Eli Berman, 19, of Tuckerman Lane, Amherst, and Christopher A. Jones, 20, of Florence, were both arrested April 30 at 12:11 a.m. at the Haigis Mall on charges of possession of a class D substance, marijuana, police said.

Wednesday, April 16
CITIZEN ASSISTANCE
* 9:20 a.m. - An Amity Street woman reported receiving a phone call from a man at 4:18 a.m. in which he used racial epithets and made threats associated with the Ku Klux Klan. Police will perform a trace on the calls if the woman receives them again
* 12:24 p.m. - Police got a call from a Main Street woman who said she has been bothered by phone calls all day and night. Police advised her to speak to her phone provider.
* 3:42 p.m. - Police responded to Willow Lane after a woman who was visiting her boyfriend wanted her mother to leave the property.
DISTURBANCES
* 2:15 p.m. - A girl making threats to her mother and brother after refusing to accompany them to the library from Clark House calmed down before police got there.
LARCENY
* 12:05 p.m. - Police took a report of an incident in which an X-box controller was sold on the Internet and the purchase was made with a stolen credit card on PayPal. The incident was reported by a Rolling Green Drive resident.
VANDALISM
* 2:26 p.m. - A Fearing Street resident told police someone visiting his neighbors walked on the hood of his vehicle sometime overnight, leaving dents and footprints. Police are investigating.
FIGHTS
* 12:40 a.m. -People fighting on North Pleasant Street were not located by police.
* 1:11 a.m. - Two men fighting at the Puffton Village bus stop fled when police got there.
ANIMAL COMPLAINTS
* 2:48 p.m. - An injured fox on Spencer Drive was not located by police.
* 7:01 p.m. - An East Pleasant Street resident told police he killed a raccoon after it nearly bit him on the leg and would dispose of the animal on his own. The following day at 8:08 a.m., a North Pleasant Street resident who was attacked by a raccoon also destroyed the animal.
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENTS
* 1:29 a.m. - A vehicle that went out of control on South East Street struck and destroyed a mailbox and post, before fleeing the scene, police said.
The driver was identified the following day and offered to compensate the homeowners for the damage, police said.
* 8:54 a.m. - A minor two-car accident with no personal injuries took place at Brandywine Apartments, police said.
* 4:13 p.m. - Jennifer E. Antonellis, 23, of Greenfield Road, Deerfield, was issued a citation for failure to use care in stopping after the vehicle she was driving on Northampton Road rearended a vehicle driven by Ariella C. Ruderman, 32, of Cottage Street, which in turn was pushed into a vehicle driven by Judith A. Gaj, 56, of Ware, police said.
No personal injuries were reported, and all three vehicles left the scene under their own power, police said.
TRAFFIC
* 2:23 p.m. - Police issued a ticket to a vehicle blocking an Amity Street driveway.
* 8:52 p.m. - A vehicle that made an improper U-turn on North Pleasant Street was stopped and the driver was issued a verbal warning.
* 9:50 p.m. - Police found the owner of a vehicle blocking a bus stop on North Pleasant Street and had him move the vehicle.
Thursday, April 17
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
* 9:05 p.m. - Police were unable to locate people who had allegedly broken a lock and entered a residence at the Pomeroy Lane Cooperative.
* 9:29 p.m. - A man who lit a pillow on fire at Townehouse Apartments and brought it outside told police the pillow had been given to him by his ex-girlfriend. He was warned to put out the fire.
* 9:52 p.m. - A man was seen driving a vehicle erratically at Puffton Village and exited the vehicle holding an open can of beer. Police did not observe the vehicle on a public way.
* 11:24 p.m. - A 23-year-old man walking near The Pub with an open bottle of alcohol agreed to dump the contents and was issued a verbal warning by police.
DISTURBANCES
* 5:33 p.m. - A man who got into an argument with his former attorney at the Survival Center fled the area before police got there. Police located him in a vehicle a short distance away.
NOISE COMPLAINTS
* 1:33 a.m. - Police issued a verbal warning to Kellogg Avenue residents who were yelling. At 3:32 a.m., police returned to the location, but all the yelling had ended.
* 4:56 p.m. - Loud music and gatherings outside Townehouse Apartments were determined not to be excessively noisy. At 9:27 p.m., police responded again when people were throwing glass bottles at rocks.
* 9:06 p.m. - Fireworks set off at Village Park had ended when police got there. At 9:17 p.m., police returned to find a Dumpster fire, which was extinguished by firefighters, and determined it had started from sparks from the fireworks.
* 9:44 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued by police to Colonial Village residents playing loud music.
* 10:11 p.m. - College Street Apartments residents playing a loud stereo were issued a verbal warning by police.
* 10:37 p.m. - Loud foot traffic on Kellogg Avenue was determined just to be people going to and coming from the downtown bars.
* 11:05 p.m. - A loud party on Allen Street cleared out before police got there.
ANIMAL COMPLAINTS
* 12:52 p.m. - A dog suffering inside a warm vehicle on South Pleasant Street was gone when police got there.
* 1:04 p.m. - Police located a golden retriever running loose on Northampton Road and returned the dog to its owner, who was issued a fine.
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENTS

* 5:22 p.m. - Amy A. Davagian, 21, of Sutton, was attempting to make a left turn from Governor's Drive onto North Pleasant Street when the vehicle she was driving collided with bicyclist Kimberly Russell, 20, of Manchaug, who was crossing North Pleasant Street from Eastman Lane, police said.
Russell was examined at the scene by Amherst Fire Department ambulance personnel for lacerations and a contusion to her right quadriceps, but refused transport to a hospital, police said. Paramedics also examined Davagian, who police said was visibly upset and shaken after hitting Russell, a friend of hers from high school.
Police said Davagian brought Russell to the UMass Infirmary for further treatment. No citations were issued as a result of the accident.

Rodriguez's vehicle then went off the road and onto the sidewalk, hit a wooden horse protecting a ditch in the road, with the remnants of the horse hitting vehicles driven by Honeylyne G. Teruel, 26, of Mill Village Road, South Deerfield, and William S. Downey, 46, of Franklin, police said.
Rodriguez sustained injuries to his arms, and Lloyd complained of pains in his back, police said.

* 9:07 p.m. - Police were able to turn off a loud car alarm sounding on Lessey Street.

* 5:54 p.m. - A minor two-car accident with no personal injuries occurred in a parking lot on Belchertown Road, police said.

* 12:55 p.m. - Police issued a verbal warning to the driver of a vehicle stopped on Triangle Street for having an obstructed license plate.
* 7:47 p.m. - A man was seen driving a vehicle with an open container of alcohol in his hand on East Hadley Road. The vehicle was parked when police got there.

* 9:38 p.m. - Police assisted management at a downtown restaurant issue a trespass notice to a former employee who had allegedly stolen items from the business.

* 8:21 p.m. - A man going door-to-door on Lincoln Avenue allegedly collecting money for an environmental group was not located by police.

* 4:41 p.m. - A person was issued a trespass notice to stay out of the CVS Pharmacy on North Pleasant Street.
* 8:06 p.m. - Police assisted a North Amherst woman seeking options for dealing with her former boyfriend, who has made violent threats toward her and may continue to call her.
Tuesday, April 29
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
* 1:31 a.m. - Police received a report of suspicious noises outside a Belchertown Road home, and someone possibly trying to enter the sliding door. A search of the property found no one in the area.
* 5:48 p.m. - Youths attempting to break into vehicles at The Brook were located by police. Their parents were notified about the incident.
CITIZEN ASSISTANCE
* Between 1:34 a.m. and 2:02 a.m. - Police went to five Amherst bars to ensure no drinking activity was taking place after 1 a.m.
* 3:19 p.m. - Police helped a South Amherst woman control her teenage daughter.
* 8:41 p.m. - Police resolved a custody issue between parents of an 11-year-old child after the mother called police with concerns about the people staying with the father and her child.

* 10:05 a.m. - A person standing outside a North Pleasant Street location yelling at passers-by and begging for cigarettes was not located by police.
* 4:10 p.m. - Police were unable to locate a woman causing a disturbance at Amherst Books. If she returns, police said she would be issued a trespass notice.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
* 12:34 a.m. and 1:10 a.m. - A man urinating on a building on Pray Street and a woman urinating on a North Pleasant Street building were both issued warnings and sent on their way.
* 1:33 a.m. - While police were issuing a warning to one man urinating behind the downtown bars, another man created a disturbance by yelling at officers. He was given a warning and a fake ID was confiscated from him,

* 3:59 p.m. - A teenage boy out of control at The Boulders who fled the area was located and advised to return home. At 5:43 p.m., police determined the mother had brought the boy to Cooley Dickinson Hospital for evaluation.

* 1:14 a.m. - Police kept the peace between five people fighting over a jacket in front of the downtown bars.

* 1:58 a.m. - Police issued a verbal warning to people yelling and shouting outside a Phillips Street home.

* 8:45 a.m. - A rabid fox was reported on Larkspur Drive.
* 12:52 p.m. - Police returned a dog to a Main Street resident along with a notice about a fine.
* 1:17 p.m. - A quarantine notice for a dog was delivered to a North Pleasant Street resident.
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENTS
* 12:17 p.m. - Paul W. Waldron, 82, of Northampton Road, Amherst, was determined to be at fault for failure to use care in passing after the vehicle he was driving on Seelye Street sideswiped a vehicle driven by Larry D. Smith, 43, of Cooleyville Road, Shutesbury, police said.
Damage to both vehicles was minor and no personal injuries were reported, according to police.
* 2:17 p.m. - Police said they took a report of a vehicle damaged during a hit-and-run accident the previous day at the Golds Gym parking lot on University Drive.
* 3:04 p.m. - A minor two-car accident with no personal injuries took place at the corner of College and South East streets, police said.
* 3:11 p.m. - A vehicle parked at the high school sustained a broken front bumper and scratched hood following a hit-and-run accident that occurred sometime since 7:30 a.m., police said.
