Frontier Community Access TV holding open house Thursday

SOUTH DEERFIELD — Frontier Regional Community Access Television will hold its annual open house Thursday starting at 4 p.m. inside the TV station’s studios and office building at 8B Elm St. “This is always a fun event.” the TV station’s General Manager Chris Collins said. “We enjoy the chance to show people what we do, and hopefully encourage more residents to get involved in public access television.”

According to a press statement, the event will feature presentation of the 2016 FCAT ‘Community Producer of The Year’ award.” The open house, which ends at 7 p.m., “will be immediately followed by the 2017 annual meeting of the FCAT board of directors.”

FCAT covers southern Franklin County, and broadcasts on Comcast channels 12, 15, and 23 in the towns of Conway, Deerfield, Sunderland and Whately.
