HADLEY — A three-part financial literacy course is coming to the Hadley Public Library at the start of 2022.

Former Select Board member Molly Keegan will lead the seminar that aims to improve people’s relationship with money.

Keegan said concepts that will be covered include cash flow, budgeting, savings strategies, and understanding and managing debt.

“Intended audience is individuals who feel they haven’t had the opportunity to learn and discuss money in a safe and welcoming space,” Keegan said.

Though Keegan is a financial advisor at Curran and Keegan Financial in Hadley, she is leading this series as a community volunteer.

Supported by the Friends of the Hadley Library, the first session is Jan. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the 50 Middle St. site.

As an in-person event, participants are reminded that they will be required to wear masks and face coverings, and should follow other local COVID-19 health rules.
