Fortunately for us and the state of Massachusetts, our state has some semblance of law and order. UMass Chancellor Javier Reyes and his team should be rewarded for their response to this chaos and potential destructive behavior on the UMass Amherst campus that could be so catastrophic to learning. Most students on campus are here to learn and obtain a degree. No one wants our university to turn into chaos. We desperately need more leadership with fortitude and courage to stand firm against destructive and illicit behavior on campus.
