SHUTESBURY — Officials are looking for input to develop a 10-year vision for the town.

To that end, Bob Groves, a member of the Master Plan Working Group, formed earlier this year, said the town will hold two Community Visioning Workshops, one on Nov. 3 and another Dec. 5.

Both events will start at 7 p.m., and be held in the Shutesbury Elementary School. The workshop is open to all Shutesbury residents.

“Has Shutesbury changed since you’ve lived here? Has it changed for the better or worse? Would you like to have a say in how it might change in the next 10 years?” asks a public notice posted on the town’s website. The notice relates that “Everyone’s inputs, ideas, concerns, and suggestions will be incorporated into a ‘Visioning Statement’ as a first step in updating Shutesbury’s Master Plan,” which was released in June 2004.

“This process will work to better understand what matters to the community to identify a shared vision, which will guide town priorities and provide a foundation for future planning,” the notice relates.
