Josh Berins of Amherst sent me an email about the Relay for Life Craft Fair that will be held July 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 17 Spring St. in Florence.

Andrew Starr, who used to live in Amherst but now lives in Kansas City, sent a charming caricature of his son, who will be six in October. I know he sent a note when his son was born, but I can’t remember his name. The grandparents are Irene and Norton Starr, who moved from Amherst to Kansas City to be near the child.
