“Deeper Than The Skin”: A Musical Presentation on Race in America performed by Reggie Harris and Greg Greenway, Saturday, Oct. 6, 7 - 9:30 p.m., at the UU Society of Amherst, 121 N. Pleasant St.

The Amherst Boys and Girls Club will host a free breakfast Oct. 11 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott. You can get to meet the new director and hear how the new site is doing. Please call 413-461-2171 so a head count can be done. Thanks.

I visited my twin granddaughters in Maryland and had lunch at their school. I would like to thank every employee and volunteer who works in a school cafeteria. Your service is greatly appreciated.

Sharon Sharry, Director of the Jones Library, will be the speaker at the Amherst Club lunch Oct. 9 at 12:15 p.m. at the Bistro 63 function room upstairs. The public is invited.
