My friends Deanna Pearlstein and Joyce Hines of Amherst are organizing the food room at the Fall Fair Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 98 North Maple St., Hadley. The fair includes vendors, silent auction, Grandma’s Attic, books, holidays items and lunch. Admission is free.

Nov. 6 is Election Day. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Uber and Lift will free rides to the polls. Some schools and the Bangs Center will hold bake sales. Please vote.

I will be working at Crocker Farm in the morning. It’s always nice to catch up with friends and neighbors

Bonnie Isman of Amherst reminded me of the Amherst Historical Society House Tour that will be held Nov. 10 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m., featuring seven homes in town. Tickets are $20 or $25 the day of the tour. Buy tickets at Hastings, the Hadley Garden Center or online at: amhersthistory.org.
