Jonathan Tuck: A problematic petition

The petition to open UMass for the spring fails to take into account the countrywide pandemic emergency and daily examples we see about how college students refuse to be responsible in their actions.

College is not a semester-long party with periods of classwork. This is a deadly disease that is easily spread threatening not only themselves and their families but the entire community where they live.

Any student failing to adhere to school guidelines for safety should be expelled no refund. Save your parents and taxpayers money and stay home to party.
