The Amherst Woman’s Club, of which I am a member, is sponsoring a fund raising Chocolate Sunday with local cook book author Claire Hopley of Leverett. Saturday begins the week-long WinterFest, sponsored by the town’s LSSE Department, with luminaria on the common after dark. The Fest includes a full schedule of events including the above mentioned chocolate program.

With all the diverse weather we’ve been having, a cabin fever break is welcome.
