Garden report: I hope this is the week I clear the vegetable beds. However, I have been saying that for two weeks. I am very grateful for the flowers that keep blooming.

I went to the opening of the General Store at the Mill District. It reminds me of the Vermont Country Store in that it has a little bit of everything — clothes, toys, pet food, candy, soap, utensils, candles, food. There is a great playground for children adjacent to the Provisions store.
