Valley Books moves down street

Valley Books, which has been downtown for 31 years, is moving from 199 North Pleasant St. to 220 North Pleasant St., according to owner Larry Pruner.

The move is expected to take place at the end of December and the new store opened on Jan. 2

The bookshop that sells used, old and discount new books as well as old postcards, postage stamps and other ephemera has been at its present address since 1987.

Valley Books' new location will be its fourth, since opening at 233 North Pleasant St. in July 1975.
