Pluto in U.S. chart points to secret center of power
Published on August 17, 2007
THE image of a submarine gliding along beneath the surface, striking fear in the hearts of those in a mortal struggle during times of war is apropos of Pluto. It is an image that calls darkness friend.
The planetary archetypes all have their own characteristics. One of Pluto's trademarks is the quality of being secretive, of wanting, having and acquiring power.
With Pluto in Capricorn in the U.S. chart (born on July 4, 1776), there is a secret center of power (Pluto) in the government (Capricorn). Because this alignment is in the second house, it is to be found in the arena of our finances and how we make our money. Because Pluto rules the U.S. 12th house (Scorpio on the 12th), these forces are hidden behind the scenes.
A number of presidents usually held in high regard were known to have opposed private financial interests taking control of the nation's money supply - presidents like Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, and Abraham Lincoln.
As we moved into the 20th century, the U.S. Midheaven, the point which deals with fame, reputation and the administration (especially the executive branch), conjuncted Pluto as we demonstrated the worst of colonial oppression in our brutal takeover of the Philippines. The move furthered the interests of Imperialism and the international bankers. Now let's move a little farther into the 20th century and hear what Woodrow Wilson had to say about control of the federal government.
We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled governments in the civilized world - no longer a government of free opinion, no longer a government by... a vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.
Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it. This notion was underscored by the Major of New York City, John Hylan, in 1927:
These international bankers and Rockefeller-Standard Oil interests control the majority of the newspapers and magazines in this country. They use the columns... to club into submission or drive out of office public officials who refuse to do the bidding of the powerful corrupt cliques which compose the invisible government...
(The) real menace of our republic is this invisible government, which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy length over city, state, and nation... It seizes in its long and powerful tentacles our executive officers, our legislative bodies, our schools, our courts, our newspapers, and every agency created for the public protection... To depart from mere generalizations, let me say that at the head of this octopus are the Rockefeller-Standard Oil interest and a small group of powerful banking houses generally referred to as the international bankers. The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both parties, write political platforms, make catspaws of party leaders, use the leading men of private organizations, and resort to every device to place in nomination for high public office only such candidates as will be amenable to the dictates of corrupt big business...
We are seeing threads of international control running throughout the course of our history. Meet Pluto in Capricorn in the second house.
