The following Jazz in July events are open to the public:

All-star concerts

July 10 & 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Bowker Auditorium

Tickets: $20; $10 students & seniors

Lecture & performance series

Monday through July 17 from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. in Bowker Auditorium (unless otherwise specified)

$10 per lecture, $50 for all eight

* Wednesday - Flavors of New Jazz with Dana Leong and Geri Allen

* July 10 - The Best of CBS Sunday Morning Jazz with Billy Taylor, School of Management, Room 133

* July 14 - Playing the History of Jazz with the Tillis-Holmes Duo

* July 15 - Keeping Up With the Changes with Cathy Jensen-Hole

* July 16 - Jazz in July's Tribute to Max Roach with Winard Harper and the Billy Taylor Trio

* July 17 - The Evolution of the Groove with Mark Baszak, School of Management, Room 133

Club Jazz in July

Wednesdays and July 16 from 7 to 10 p.m.

Tickets: $5 cover charge, and cash bar

Student performances July 11 and 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bowker Auditorium, free admission
